31/01/2007 Monthly Boost January 2007
Immune system tantrum
Dear All,
Welcome to 2007,
I hope you had a lovely and restful holiday which may seem like a lifetime ago already! Now that you are probably back into the ‘swing of life’ and looking forward to what YOU have in store for 2007, let me share my first Monthly Boost of the year.
I wanted mainly to remind everyone that in February of every year we start to work on seasonal allergies, namely the dreaded ‘hay fever’. If you want to avoid ‘symptom suppression’ (my readers should all know about that now) using anti-histamines, steroids, nasal decongestants etc., then do email or call us to book in for February. Suppressing symptoms only results in long term ‘iller’ (brain fag, sorry) health, which can result in arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, cancer…will stop there, as I am not one to instill fear but just to inject wholesome knowledge. Why not address the so called ‘hypersensitive’ immune system (I call it the immune system having a tantrum in order to get your attention)?
'What does this entail?' you ask...
- Identifying the ‘allergen’. This maybe grass pollen, or tree pollen, or moulds etc
- Desensitisation to the allergen(s); this entails taking the specific allergen(s) in homeopathic form along side with a ‘vital’ substance that clears any obstacles out of the way for this to be successful
- A nutritional support programme to alleviate the ‘immune tantrum’ but also to support various systems in the body such as the immune system as well as the circulatory and respiratory system
Sounds pretty brilliant eh? If I do say so myself. But, you may be asking …
‘What’s the catch?’
There is no catch, but always keep in mind the longer you have had the ‘allergy’ (hay fever or dust or feathers, dust etc) and the longer you have suppressed it (for example, with anti-histamines one year and steroids the next year...(suppression is rather ugly)) it can take two rounds of desensitisation, so this year and then next February.
What’s the advantage of this route?
- We are using natural remedies, so the detox organs are given space to breath and a bit more ‘life’
- You are addressing the cause and not slapping a band aid (plaster to some) on the symptoms
- Its cheaper in the long run
- You enjoy your spring and/or summer season without crying or scratching your upper palate away
- Prevent further major immune tantrums and other system tantrums..picture both a child and parent having a tantrum at the same time….hhhmm what chaos..and this chaos translates internally to every part of our body over time
What if I just continue with my traditional drugs?
Of course it’s your choice, my role here, is to educate rather than ‘convert’ or ‘bully’ you. But just make sure you are making an informed decision as to your ‘treatment’ and the long-term impact of the various treatments
Can I wait until the hay fever season to be desensitised?
No. It does not work once your immune system is having a tantrum, as it won’t listen..again envision a toddler having a tantrum,..need I say more?
So have a think and when you are ready give us a call or drop us an email and if you are not ready, hey don’t worry there is always next year!
To a healthy 2007!
